I was apprehensive when I first walked in to John’s sessions by myself a year ago but I needn’t have worried. Everyone across all time sessions are friendly, supportive and will push and cheer you to the best of your ability. He will check everyone’s form through the workouts and will correct or give guidance where needed. John programmes challenging and fun workouts that are different every time as part of small group training. I’ve been training with John since February and it’s the best investment in myself, worth every penny! I’m a LOT fitter and I’ve met a lovely group of like minded people at the gym.
Been going to MVMNT Culture gym now for a month. I hadn’t properly done any exercise and was anxious to start going back to group classes. However, from having the initial chat with John to attending my first class I have not felt anxious or like I am on my own. Everyone is so welcoming there is no cliques and it doesn’t matter what your ability is you never feel like your less than anyone else, everyone encourages each other. John doesn’t just leave you too it, he’ll check in see how your getting on and will explain how to do each exercise (even if you have to ask him twice its never an issue!) Genuinely happy to be exercising again for health reasons but it has 100% helped my mental health. Will also add the gym is super clean and smells nice!
John has completely changed my view of gyms. Used to hate them but now love all the carefully considered sessions he runs at his new gym. It is spotless and has all the equipment you need to improve your fitness, strength and general life- style. He is an expert in his field adapting exercises and sessions to your needs and goals. So many things I couldn’t do when I went, including walking down stairs normally due to a bad knee and now I do them with ease. Can’t thank John enough for everything he has improved for me and my weight loss. I would highly recommend John and this gym.
